Bio in Tech (BIT)

I USE THE GIFT GIVEN TO ME;  GIFT TO SPEAK LIFE OR DEATH; THAT I CAN TELL THE WORLD WHAT I WANT IN LIFE - IN TURN THE WORLD WILL ALIGN EVENTS - FORTUNE & FAILURE FOR MY GREATER PURPOSE, MY REQUEST.

WE ALL HAVE THIS GIFT; FEW OF US USE IT!

Troy A. Phelps, recently named Top 50 Most Influential African Americans in Technology, a seasoned cybersecurity leader with two decades of expertise,
brings a wealth of knowledge from his roles at Remitly, Home Depot, and his own consultancy,
TAPhelps Brands.
Most recently, Troy served as Global CISO and Chief Privacy Officer at Remitly, where he played a
pivotal role in the company’s IPO and strengthened its cybersecurity infrastructure to meet SEC
compliance standards. Previously, he led a major cybersecurity overhaul at The Home Depot following
one of the largest data breaches in history, enhancing risk management and securing assets across global
operations.

Today Troy's focus in Technology are built upon supporting and advocating for Women in Tech, Diversity & Inclusion, Human Connectivity, and Self Care for Executives.  "Their is enough technology and innovation for years to come, but their is a human dynamic of connectivity, equity in roles, and apathy for our humanity that is missing.  That is the conversation I want to bring into the room.  After going through burnout and health challenges myself, I am in a state of vulnerability to have these conversations - get back to making "human based" decisions as leaders.
